Sunday 24th May
Just a lazy day at home again. Lunch with my host mum was enjoyed while watching videos of my host siblings when they were little. Of which I will not go into detail, because I'm sure they would not like it. And yes both of them speak English and know about my blog. Helped make inari sushi for dinner and then we made crepes which we ate for dessert J
Monday 25th May
Back to school today after last week off so I hear “neri chan hisashiburidesune” (nelly its been a while since I have seen you) a lot today followed by many questions about what I got up to in my week off… there were a fair few who thought I would have gone back to Australia for the week! Some of them.. the boys in particular seem to have trouble grasping the fact that I'm here for a year and I don’t go home at all in that time.
Tuesday 26th May
After school I went to English speaking club which had a bit of a party thing going on as it was the first time I had been able to go since the 1st years joined. So it was pull out the map and photos and all that jazz again to show them, plus we seem to have gained a few more 3rd years than I remember their being previously. We were then joined by our ALT (assistant language teacher) and played fruit basket!
After this I went to the gym and waited for my host cousin Musko to finish club. I then went home with her. She lives with her other grandparents and does have 2 sisters, but even considering that they have a huge house, and I mean big even by Australian standards! I had dinner there and spent quiet some time talking with the various members of the family befor coming home.

Wednesday 27th May
Went to rotary today and found out that my club has arragned for me to have lots of ½ day hosts. Meaning that on Wednesdays after rotary meetings I go with a Rotarian until after dinner that evening. This is so that I get to know more of the Rotarians and those that wanted to host me but arnt get to have me for a little while. The family that I went to today were really nice, we went to a new rose garden at Himi and then back to their house and just talked over lots of photos and then went out for dinner befor they returned me to my hosts. It was very fun. I just wish I had been told about these befor I got to rotary at lunchtime today.
